TV Ad Will Complement Team O’Dea’s Strong Organizing, Media Efforts
Mayoral candidate and County Commissioner Bill O’Dea is continuing his advertising blitz as the election draws closer, with a new 30 second ad launching this weekend on cable television. The cable TV spend will complement O’Dea’s robust digital advertising and direct mail campaign, as well as an aggressive volunteer organizing effort that has led to well over 100,000 door knocks, phone calls and text messages delivered to targeted voters.

“I’ve spent my life fighting to make Jersey City better for every resident in every neighborhood, and our campaign is gaining momentum because the voters see my record and want a Mayor who will always stand up for them,” said O’Dea. “I’m excited to continue reaching more Jersey City residents with our message and to keep building the Our City, Our Choice movement.”
The newly announced ad campaign caps off an impressive week for the Team O’Dea campaign. In recent days O’Dea picked up the endorsement of Local 245 which represents hundreds of Jersey City municipal employees, he was declared the clear winner of a debate hosted by the Jersey City NAACP, and he has kept Jim McGreevey on the defensive by attacking the ex-Governor’s dismal record on affordable housing.
