O’Dea and Council Candidates Raise Over $220K in First Quarter of 2025
Mayoral candidate Bill O’Dea and his affiliated Team O’Dea committees raised over $220,000 in the first quarter of 2025, continuing to put them in a strong position heading into the city’s election in November. Team O’Dea now has over $1.1 million cash on hand, in addition to an extensive volunteer-driven voter contact operation that has already made thousands of phone calls to Jersey City voters and knocked on hundreds of doors.
“We’re building a campaign that will be capable of reaching voters in each and every Jersey City neighborhood to spread our message and continue expanding our base of supporters,” said Commissioner O’Dea. “I’m grateful to everyone who has chosen to support our team because they recognize our commitment to integrity and our vision for a future where no one in Jersey City gets left behind.”
O’Dea’s cash on hand total includes $627,377 in his mayoral campaign account, $296,441 in his County Commissioner account and $167,886 in his Team O’Dea Council account. Team O’Dea Council members also have additional funds in their individual accounts, bringing the grand total over $1.1 million cash on hand. Across all accounts O’Dea has raised nearly $1.3 million since the start of his campaign for Mayor, demonstrating significant fundraising success, and he has built a citywide organization with an extremely low burn rate.
